CHI ALPHA AT SOUTHERN
Chi Alpha (which comes from Christou Apostoloi - Greek for Christ’s Ambassadors in 2 Corinthians 5:20) is currently present on over 300 campuses throughout the nation. For the first time ever, Chi Alpha will be at Southern University. God spoke to this team several years ago about bringing Chi Alpha to Southern and we are excited about being able to continue to bring the Gospel message to this campus, reconciling students to God and equipping them to live out their faith in college and after they graduate! We do this through our life groups, family dinners, and much more! We are excited for the opportunity to serve Southern University and we are looking forward to what God has planned for Southern Chi Alpha going forward. Click here to read more about what we believe.
OUR PASTORS AND STAFF
James & Kelsey Price
James graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2018, while Kelsey graduated from Texas Women's University in 2017. Both were active members of Chi Alpha. James and Kelsey met in Lafayette while Kelsey was completing her year in training with the Chi Alpha Internship. Kelsey decided to head to the University of New Orleans after her year in training with Chi Alpha. At the same time, James was gearing up to start his year in training with Chi Alpha. James decided after his training to also travel to New Orleans to be on staff with Chi Alpha at the University of New Orleans. James and Kelsey are excited for this next step of getting ready to pioneer Chi Alpha on campus at Southern University.
